WHAT CAN GO IN A PORTABLE STORAGE CONTAINER?

Driveway Containers is intended for residential on-site storage: think furniture, boxes, totes and seasonal household belongings while you make room at home.

Typical household storage

Examples include sofas, dressers, dining furniture, packed boxes, seasonal decorations and patio furniture. These are starting points for planning your storage, not a complete list of approved items.

Tell us what you need to store when you check availability, especially if the items fall outside ordinary household belongings.

Ask about unusual or sensitive items first

Check with us before loading items with special storage requirements. Describe the item, its condition and any care requirements so you can confirm whether the container is suitable.

Do not treat a general list of household examples as permission to store every material or item. Ask us for the applicable item restrictions before loading anything you are unsure about.

Plan for fit and access

Measure larger pieces and consider how you will reach things during the rental. Label boxes and keep an inventory. The amount that fits depends on your items and how you arrange them.

Read what fits in a 16-foot container and view real container photos.

Everything comes back out before pickup

The container remains at your property during use. Driveway Containers does not transport loaded containers containing customer belongings.

When you are finished, empty the container and sign a pickup ticket confirming it is ready. Billing stops when you sign that ticket; the container stays empty until it is collected.
