CAN I PUT A CONTAINER IN MY DRIVEWAY?

A driveway may be a suitable place for a Driveway Container, but delivery access, the placement area and any requirements for your property need to be checked first.

Start with delivery access

Plan for at least 50 feet of clear, straight-line space for delivery and pickup. Tell us about the surface, gates, turns, slopes and overhead obstacles. The equipment needs a clear route in and out.

That space guideline is not automatic approval of every driveway. We need to confirm access and placement for your property.

Consider the whole rental

The 16-foot container remains at your property while you use it. Consider parking, garage access, entrances and how you will open the container doors and carry belongings.

Keep the pickup approach clear throughout the rental so the container can be collected when you are finished.

Check requirements for your address

Check any HOA, neighborhood or local requirements before delivery. Ask the relevant association or local office about your planned location and rental duration. Driveway Containers does not promise that a container is permitted at every address.

Ask before committing to a spot

Send us your ZIP code, preferred date and placement details through the availability form. Include any access concerns in the notes.
