HOW LONG CAN I KEEP A STORAGE CONTAINER?

Driveway Containers has no minimum rental period. Use the container at your property for your storage project, with prorated rent for the first month and full calendar-month billing after that.

How the first month works

Your upfront payment is $300 for delivery and eventual pickup, plus prorated rent for the remainder of the first month. For example, 15 rental days remaining in a 30-day month means $75 in rent.

What happens on the first of the next month?

If your rental continues into the next calendar month, $150 is due on the first. Only your first month is prorated. Each subsequent month, including the last, is billed at the full $150.

If your rental is still active on the second, the full monthly rent applies even if you finish that day. No minimum rental period does not mean later months are billed by the day.

How to end the rental

Empty the container and contact us to arrange pickup. No particular advance notice period is required. Sign a pickup ticket confirming the unit is empty and ready for pickup.

Billing stops when you sign the pickup ticket. You do not continue accruing rent while waiting for physical collection after that ticket is signed. The final month is not prorated.

Plan around your project

When choosing your start date, think about when you will be ready to load and when you expect to empty the container. If your plans change, contact us about the rental.
