HOW MUCH SPACE DOES A CONTAINER NEED?

For a Driveway Containers delivery, plan for at least 50 feet of clear, straight-line space for delivery and pickup. The 16-foot container length is not the same as the space needed for the delivery equipment.

Measure the approach, not just the parking spot

Think about the full approach to your preferred placement location. Vehicles and other obstacles need to be out of the equipment path, and access needs to remain available for pickup.

Tell us about the whole site

Let us know about gates, slopes, turns, overhead branches or wires, and the surface where the container would sit. A length measurement alone does not confirm that a placement will work.

Ask us to review uncertain access before scheduling delivery. We will confirm placement based on the property and safe access for our equipment.

Leave room for everyday use

Consider how you will reach the container doors and how you will continue using your driveway, garage and entrances during the rental. Choose a spot that works for the whole rental, not just delivery day.

Keep the pickup route clear

Before collection, remove all belongings and clear the equipment path. Sign a pickup ticket confirming the container is empty and ready. Billing stops when you sign that ticket, even if physical collection happens later.
